First is these two based on the Greenland shark and Goblin Shark respectively. The Greenland shark is known for it’s long sleep cycles to the point where it even hunts and eats completely asleep thus the theme with sleeping. Megalodooz was originally going to be more based on nightmares due to the goblin shark’s terrifying appearance but I decided to go with more of a sandman kind of vibe with.

Also keep in mind my pictures come out upside down, I don’t know why, try not to throw your necks out looking in different angles.

Next is a Fairy/Ground type based on the obscenely cute and friendly Quokkas from the Australian islands. He even has a signature move in the form of Group Hug. They just love taking pictures with Pokémon trainers too!

Next is Symbiongii which was made with the idea of of a Pokémon that functioned more like an item then an actual teammate. Pair it with either Heracross, Pinsor, Beedrill or Vespiquen for a huge attack boost and a change in design involving added weaponry made out of Symbiongii itself, i’ll post what these biological weapons look like next. The main drawback is that the Pokémon infected by Symbiongii will lose a bit of health every turn like the Life Orb, he is based off of the parasitic fungus after all.

And here is what Symbiongii looks like when paired with it’s five possible hosts. I tried to convey that although it’s infection is beneficial to the Pokémon in battle, it is still feeding off of the, thus why there’s thing like little mushrooms and slime tendrils growing out. I thought about what kind of boosts other bug types could get from Symbiongii, like Scisor having a chainsaw arm and Durant having a catapult.

Next is Neurozoa and Jelder, based on the fascinating immortal jellyfish. I just really like the Psychic/Ghost typing I have to Jelder. Also a design note, the “pacifier” that Neurozoa has becomes the gem on Jelder’s head, it is the source of all their immense power. They are also meant to be late-game mons.

Thanks for the kind words, a shame you didn’t like Animan though, he’s actually the favorite of my ideas. Those are all the ones I’ve drawn so far but I have a ton of other ideas and designs thought through, the problem is that my artistic skills are at my limit with them. Some of ideas for fakemon I had include a steel type rook chess piece that evolves into either a steel/fighting type knight king or knight queen depending on its gender, a Fire/Bug line based on the Bombardier Beetle with a motorcycle motif and the regional bird line based on the Hooded Pitohui, the final evo being poison/flying with an assassin motif.
