Are you referring to singles or doubles? In singles its probably not ideal but due to its speed fear of specs it can conditionally threaten whatever it starts against with draco and wisp/u turn out. In doubles it can pull ally switch shenanigans.

I wouldn't use it as my lead but its not like leading it is gamethrowing it either.

OP is probably arguing about the fact you usually want it in the back to clean shit up instead of starting the game.
If that's the case, in doubles an easly dynamax dragon attack can be nasty if paired with tailwind.
