The bridges and camera fuckery in a simple ass 2D pixel game were incredible
Some of the constant animations were pretty lazy especially the ones that were just animated versions of pre-existing sprites.
The fact that the version exclusives like Lilligant/Whimsicott were available via in-game trade were nice
The fact that HMs existed in BW1 but weren't required through the entire game, only for side puzzle things, was amazing and it's still one of the things I hated about BW2. I ran monograss in BW1 and couldn't in 2 since surf was forced.
The fact that the ice area of the game was basically a bunch of fridges was a great take on the concept instead of forcing us onto a mountain or randomly frozen cave
Streamlining small stuff like repels and buying items from vending machines was so underrated

wonder launcher was probably a better competitive gimmick than anything else we've had in the past 7 years and it never even got used

Only thing beautiful in BW's map was seeing Elesa's ass. Unova was a boring handholding circle for casual retards and toddlers that threw stuff like exploration into the trash. That's a disgrace that ruined the franchise.

I had never really associated iris with native Americans before.

Didnt they have to scrap most of the plasma arc due to an earthquake?
Also it's hard to incorporate N into the anime since the anime already had many examples of people/pokemon relationships aside from battling and being pets
