There's no such thing as Canon or Timelines in pokemon. Masuda also said it himself, the timeline is a complete mess and they don't put much effort into it, players should just enjoy the game and be done with it.
With that said, how comes people dare to praise this games' "complex multiverse"? Have they ever played or watched or read ANYTHING with a good and well thought world design, like LOTR for instance?

Also, people praise swsh for the gameplay features, the vast region and many things to do. Can you explain me why? I do agree pokemon platinum/hgss had a lot to do, legendaries to catch etc, but swsh doesn't have a single optional route, city or legendary to explore or catch. Again, have they ever played a good rpg, like any final fantasy before x2, the elder scrolls, any gta really why do peopkd say it's good? It's just like fifa, new year new title same game, and people won't admit it
