but they did alola forms and then we got a gen 1 remake. they could easily do new forms for sinnoh mons to patch up low type spreads from the original just like they did with kanto.

Let's Go needed regional forms because it was a very tightly constrained pokedex. There wasn't even a single Dark type.
Sinnoh could easily just get an expanded regional dex, since no one will throw up a nostalgia fuss if they do that like they would with Kanto.
Plus, Sinnoh is already the only one of the first 5 generations without a single regional form.

I’m down for an Ice/Electric Shinx. Delta Ralts in Insurgence is based and fun to play with. It’s more of an offensive typing though and would get one shot by a lot of common attacks like erfquake.

Wow the first 3 gens and gen 6 have awful type variety. Gen 5 has the best and gen 7's is not bad since these charts seem to be counting Alolan Forms as gen 1.

Gen 5 had a weird approach where they went out of their way to make at least one 3-stage line for every type since their goal was to do a regional dex with no old pokemon.
Gen 6 was presumably designed around the massive regional dex but I don't know off the top of my head how Kalos's overall type variety looks.

Christ, I was so blinded by the design that I didn't even register the quality of the artwork here. I noticed that most of the Generation 8 official art was stiff and sloppy, but this one takes the cake. The spindly legs are drawn rather shakily and there's far too many places where the line art is unevenly thick and blotchy. It looks like it was traced instead of drawn from scratch.

Just bad software. Those bumps in the middle of some lines looks like this guy tried to make a clean stroke, but it didn't track properly.
