What's your current hunt?
I just hatched a shiny Rotom after 217 eggs.

What was your last hunt?
Before Rotom I got a Golett after just 67 eggs.

What would you like to hunt next?
Not sure, thinking of going for Litwick or Snom.

Hang in there. I had been playing since 99, and I didn't get my first shiny until Gen 6 (Shiny Binacle, followed by a Gravler and Murkrow)

Chaining in SwSh is just to get better fishing mon stats I think. For REs, it's just getting the overall 500 kill/catch total for individual species. If memory serves though, defeating an overworld encounter increases the spawn rate of that mon, so that's sort of chaining I guess.
