>they weren't aware of how bad the game is/tried to convince themselves it was good>they've played pokemon for all of their life and it has become a part of them now, they'll buy pokemon regardless of how bad it is because they simply can't let the series go>they bought it for social reasons (friends are playing it, to be able to discuss pokemon online, etc...)Aside from a few outliers like streamers, these are the only reasons why people actually bought the games. I know I'm in the first group.
