It's B to open the menu which feels a bit weird and it doesn't have some of the extra QOL additions that Blue has with being able to see all the party member's stats and it gets pretty laggy in bigger dungeons when you get a monster house. One of the 99F water dungeons has forced whole floor monster houses and it really doesn't like that, but that may just be an issue from playing on an actual GBA and not emulating it.
If you're autistic enough to recruit everything then you're going to want to shoot yourself. You have to finish a dungeon with new recruits in your party for them to stay, you can't just send them home like you can in the Explorers game, so you're going to be going through the same dungeons a bunch just to Escape Orb once you've recruited 3 mons and go through it again just to do the same a couple of times.
It's playable but Blue is preferable if you have a choice.
