They didn't add it due in part to the reports kids found it difficult to navigate Mt Coronet (Platinum's version being more brightly lit and signposted better) and also because they wanted to fuck over the void glitchers who'd gotten into the Event areas in DP.

Is there a way to crack open all the events like these in a platinum rom before playing? I’m talking stuff like shaymin and rotom key as well, a plat run with all of the legendary/restricted stuff available for access feels like the true experience.

Are you thick? THAT'S why. And as I'd already mentioned, they'd started getting reports of sperg nip kids not understanding how to navigate Mt. Coronet. It's not hard to get that as the reason "don't make kids go back through if they dun liek it and fuck hackers".

Gen V started off on such a high note with the liberty island event. And that ended up being the last time they ever did ticket events. Worst part is that Victini is basically useless since V-Create was locked away as a distribution only move. I'm still mad.

What about this waste? It has in-game lore, a sprite, was even programmed into the gen 7 games (unlike the comparable HGSS spike-eared Pichu) and even a fucking signature move (they even kept it as of gen 8 when they both culled Floette and 50+ moves!!!!!!!!!). And the worst part? They NEVER distributed it, never even acknowledged it. I figured it was a programmed event that they just straight-up forgot, but the fact they kept this Pokemon programmed up to gen 7 and the unused move still in SwSh is straight-up puzzling.
