They are homages

Pic related is the ONLY one I could find quick enough, but a lot of them are either reaches or just inredibly retarded. The ones that are homages you should be able to determine yourself: starters, birds, rodents, fighters, trade evos, fossils, bugs. it's really not that hard if you have a brain.
