I haven't played the generations post V yet. But from my experience the best are: Bulbasaur for Grass, Chimchar for Fire and Mudkip for Water

Literally the weakest are you insane?
Galar > Kalos > Hoenn >= Sinnoh > Kanto > Alola > Unova > Johto
Not counting megas or gigas. Alola might be better but only Incineroar is good and that's in doubles. Kalos is high because of Greninja, could be weaker though since the others are slacking.

Depends if you've got megas or not.
No megas: Serperior, Blaziken, Greninja
These all just benefit greatly from their hidden abilities
Megas: Venusaur, Blaziken, Greninja
Blaziken is just always the best because of speed boost, but without speed boost he'd be beat by Inernape and Mega Charizard

Greninja has battle bond which adds approximately 120 base stats. Gaining one of the higher SpA Base stats all around and a crazy high speed tier. 2 of greninja's abilities are useful meanwhile swampert is only in its mega form. Greninja can also hold an item, usually specs, to boost it's already high SpA to reach 600+ with base stats plus specs alone. I'm a swampertfag but greninja's base stats alone makes it superior. It also has better coverage moves than swampert and higher base stats moves. Ice beam vs ice punch, and Waterfall vs Hydro Pump/Water Shuriken. One thing Swampert has over it though is its typing and that's about it honestly. And Speed under rain. Doubles, Yes Swampert is better. Not singles tho
