Playing house rules are fine.
Insisting house rules are the "correct" way to play meta, when there's actually an official metagame active is childish and fanficcy. Now if most smogontards accepted this, we wouldn't have this proble, but the sins of those before you coloured the perception of the userbase. Deal with it.

"Most people" implied people who actually give a shit about playing competitively, and the only objective appeal VGC has over Smogon for these players is the prize money, else it's just a matter of personal preference.

Sparkling Aria is 90 power with or without Liquid Voice.
Hyper Voice is 90 power non-STAB with Torrent, and 108 power STAB with Liquid Voice.
