I was mostly curious about Delphox because for years now I was suspicious as to why it’s 3D model looked so bad compared to the 2D art, but when you give it a dynamic pose it fixes everything! No longer a fuzzy triangle, now a badass pyrokinetic mage.

I wish volcarona's in-gamecolors looked as good as they do in home.

Sucks that home got colorations correct where the 3d models failed, but they likely won't ever fix them in-game.

And textures can be changed. I mean they changed all the coloring on the textures to make them more vibrant, so why not change the eyes while they're at it? Doing nothing at all changes the entire 'feel' of the poses. Cocky sideglances are now just vacant stares, and it just looks weird.

You can check the asset rips for yourself. I don't know what they did to it, but it just looks fucking awful. It looks fine in the 3DS games, it looks fine in GO, it looks fine in Let's Go, but Home just fucking butchers it.

that's not the textures fault, that's the shader they went with, a simple smooth light and that's it, unlike swosh's rimlight and multiple point lights, also these textures appear to be just basic colors, unlike the 3ds textures which had shadows on them, and unlike swosh's more defined details.
