The kiing does this with magic and makes them in no time while Spongebob takes his time to make one. As it turns out, Spongebob's patty was amazing because he put time and care into it while the king's patties were godawful and nobody liked them. The joke is that GameFreak rushes out terrible games while Animal Crossing was delayed so that it could be a genuine lovable product.
