Imagine if Pokemon Battle Revolution back in the day would have charged you $5 to be able to connect your DS to the system and transfer. That's how useless Pokemon Home is. If it wasn't for Pokemon Go it would literally have no reason to exist. It should be optional and you all know it. You should be able to adhoc transfer or transfer over your own network for free, then Gamefreak wouldn't have to worry about providing a service or maintaining servers.
