Let’s say that if GameFreak were to start stepping up their game and put more effort into mainline games to the point but at these costs
>Incenses are now used to increase chances of Perfect IV’s
>Gen 9 only introduces 50 new pokemon which are all evolutions or pre-evolutions of older pokemon whether they be regional forms or not and also introduced 90 regional forms. This means there are no new standalone pokemon lines.
>Gen 9 has the Lotad, Rufflet, Pichu, Azurill, Cleffa, and Igglybuff lines along with Zeraora and Heatran retconned to become pseudo-legendary lines. Meaning either Azurmarill ends up in Anything Goes or Ubers.
>Gen 10 finally has truly new pokemon but the middle form of one of the starters is the regions Pikaclone
>We only get a mainline game every two years and the second game in a generation was to be meant for the older audiences while the debut game of a Generation aims toward a more casual audience.
Would it be worth it to have the games be better than what we have now, even if it meant that Azurmarill would get banished to Ubers or Anything Goes?
