>>42771165You fail to comprehend that people who find it cool already are used to said levels of obnoxiousness. To them, it's everything but it, which is why I said "gotten used to or relate to it". To them, it's just cool. Or an inspiration. Some times, you're not even aware of what you are until way much farther into the future where you start to see connections between the things you like and your tastes, which can correlate with personality you have or things you want in your life. There are also cases where if a person likes a concept for instance (say singing for instance) but doesn't like Primarina, that's because something is clashing or they can't accept (don't want to be or don't like alongside the concept). There are people who aren't used to some personalities which causes them to shut down or not want to relate to them, which usually are stereotyped into cartoons and shit. It's also possible to just like the personality and not the concept and this even applies to animal species.
I've already seen people claim also "I'm using this just because of people like you", which is a whole subset where you're already conscious of how something makes other people feel while still using it any way, thus the term of using said obnoxiousness because you feel proud of it and defend it, because it is a part of what you are (your tastes).
I'm gonna stop now because I'm getting too psychological-y.
