Anyone else wonder why smogon has such a hate boner for this guy? With the quickban from OU and there was even a point in which he was banned from nat dex because he wasn't out in sword and shield. Why hate chadmetal

Because he hard, HARD counters Toxapex. He can't be poisoned (mostly), he has natural electric coverage and can afford to dip a bit in speed to dab on Toxapex with flinch chance.

I don't care what Smogon's fucking definition is I'm using the actual word counter. Toxapex cannot do anything to Melmetal so they hate him because Toxapex embodies what Smogon thinks Pokemon is "supposed" to be.
