Yes. Oddly enough I don't think any other trainer has him in the game. Wanted to give Red something unique. Also this way all of his pokemon are big and round

I changed Leaf´s team a little bit, I didn´t like Butterfree because of its stats. moves and its type disadvantages, so I changed it with Marowak, it also has the "girly" look because of the lore of it being the mother of cubone and that stuff. It also has pretty solid defenses and good attack stat

I also didn´t like Jynx because of the fact that you have 2 ice types in your team and that´s pretty unbalances, so I replaced it with Mr. Mime because it is also a Psychic type, it´s pink so it is "girly", and it also has pretty good Sp. Defense and Sp. Attack and a good variety of moves.

This is make canon team for Calem. It's basically a giftmon team but with gardevoir and Greninja in place of the Snorlax and Lapras. I traded the gift Lapras and Snorlax with Diantha and Shauna in the postgame. I liked to think legends like xerneas are boxed.

Something like that. I was thinking the starter would be Torterra because Infernape fits Barry better while Empoleon fits Dawn better. I also remember Diamond's manga team having slower, bulkier pokemon so I included Magmortar, Drifblim (which shows up at the Windworks place), and Garchomp (to an extent) as well. Lucario was gift from Riley and Luxray he just caught regular. I was also considering fitting in a Lickilicky too, but I dropped it.
