GBA and DS emulation of sound isn’t that great. Also not needing an emulator at all is better. Incredibly easier to mod the game to make fan games too compared to a GBA rom. There is a lot of documentation on stuff like Emerald and FireRed so its not hard, but mystery dungeon games have nothing really and creating documentation to help people modify it will be easier to do on something made to run on PC.

None of that matters at the moment. Let's find it first, then we'll see what we can do with it and what comes next. Even if we can't do anything with it (highly unlikely), it's still good for archival.

Way bigger than the DS rom. this has to just have the entire game inside with the extra netcode and other shit tacked on to make it a demo and online only.
