After the transfer Home was still missing about 30 normal pokemon (mainly different stages of starters), around 10 legendaries/mythicals, several forms (from Unown, Vivillon, etc) and no shiny. I can't find a pattern either, because it's true that the Bank didn't have some of those normal pokémon, but not all those that were missing
