>>42787393The lottery *should* be skill based, anon. You should have a questionnaire of completely randomized questions that you have to answer in person, and the better you do on the pop quiz, the better chances you have to win money. Great idea!
>>42787419Think of a treasure hunt. you don't ride your bike in circles until some treasure pops out. You get a metal detector and a compass, you ask a mysterious one-eyed stranger for clues, you go off the beaten path, you take 50 steps from a weirdly shaped tree and start digging and maybe you find something, maybe you don't, maybe the adventure was the real treasure all along.
When something hunts its prey, does it absentmindedly run around in a circle watching a youtuber until it randomly bumps into a bunny? Or does it silently lurk in the shadows until it catches a trace of a small creature like a footprint / tuft of fur / poop, uses its knowledge and skills and senses to triangulate where the small creature might be hiding, and waits until the right moment to chase it down and tear it limb from limb.
>>42787557well luck isn't fun. Take the catching mechanics, I can get a legendary down to 1 HP and asleep in 2-3 turns. Then I have to waste an indefinite number of premier balls to catch it? There is no skill involved there. And its not fun. The same goes for shiny hunting
>>42787753do you by any chance have autism? no offense
>>42787817see above (not the accusation of autism but the explanation of hunting)
>>42788674okay this may be the best explanation, but it still isn't satisfactory. thanks
