Yes, and thus, in the anime, the monsters do more than just standing there, like Charizard flying to dodge MAX STRIKE and what not. But it's still accurate to how those moves are supposed to be used.

No, the whole point of Dynamax is that the pokémon are too big and heavy to move so they must stand still and fire beams at each other (that's why every max move is ranged)

Normal battles are static because of turn-based combat limitations, but max battles are meant to be static

Charizard was kicking Pikachu's ass until Pikachu Gigantamaxed, but then Charizard Gigantamaxed too and won.

Pikachu at least managed to damage G-Max Charizard though, which is more than Lance's Gyarados could do.

No. Don't remotely try to compare them. Leon is beating Ash in the begining of a new show to make Ash strive to beat Leon, giving him a goal. The natural start of a new narrative arc for a new generation of kids. Alain is, instead, a shitty asspul ending to a narrative. Not a set-up victory, but a random shitty conclusion.

This was to set Ash up to enter the Pokemon World Championships at the end of the series and fight Leon for real there.

Trying to bring game mechanics into this is retarded. Regardless of type matchup even the best Pikachu would never beat a half-decent Charizard - it'd get outsped and killed in a single hit, and even if Pikachu did get an attack in it'd still do shit damage with Pikachu's awful stats. The fact that Ash's Pikachu is even able to compete with any Charizard is anime bullshit itself.
