There's still some hope for it returning, potentially. We saw Gorebliss make it from 2nd gen to rd and Tangler's evolution like wise did return. It's a slim chance but it's possible. It's even more likely if fans start to make some noise, do some fanart of it. Basically push it as hard as possible and show game freak we want it to become official. Same with Raitora.

If anything it got reworked into Snoret but it's a very different direction. If Eevee can have 12 evolutions it would be nice to see this become a full line for Snorett. Shift them all a stage up and make it a dark/ice evolution it evolves to from having a dark move
