>>42790667Haven't played the games, so I have no bias towards any of these pokemon due to how good they are in game.
That little monkey child is the only okayish looking pre-evo starter, but that's because it's just a monkey with a stick in its hair, doesn't really look like a pokemon but doesn't look that bad either. Its final evo is decent and I fully accept it as a pokemon, all the other starter lines are pathetic so I won't waste time mentioning them further.
I don't want to look at that squirrel. It has a sinister aura.
The bird line looks alright, a bit too much going on with the early evos but it cleans it up by the final one.
I like those bug looking fellas, but they don't fit in. They look like they belong in a sonic game as a 1 hit kill enemy.
What can I say, it's a fox.
That first flower thing is sorta stupid looking. How the hell is it meant to stand up? Its evo is much better.
I'd like to grab that sheep by its pigtails and spin it around then let go and send it flying.
Disappointing turtle. Boring dog.
Coal, how does it work? That apple thing has the potential to be really cool, but the didn't put enough effort into the overall design, the way the apple armor looks, and the colors it uses.
Very dull snake.
Bird. Fish in the bird (I like it's cheeky grin, but they could have made it's form more interesting instead of compensating with the pattern).
I can't believe they put a diaper on a pokemon. Its evo pretty cool looking but isn't monstrous enough; too human. if they messed around with the shape and proportion of the limbs and it's face ten it would be a very good design.
Nice fakemon. The octopus would have looked more interesting and more like a pokemon if they added in more elements that wouldn't normally be found on an octopus. For now it's just an octopus.
Integrating pokemon into human objects is an interesting concept, but it usually goes poorly, this is an example of that.
