Your stereotypical Sagittarius is supposedly optimistic, independent, honest and adventurous, with a strong desire for travelling; negative traits are things like being tactless, lacking in empathy and impatience.
Of course, they also reckon your rising sign can play a part as well. There's ways of looking it up online- you need to know the location and what time of day you were born. I've looked mine up multiple times and it's an even split whether I get Scorpio or Sagittarius, so I suppose my rising sign is on the cusp.
There are *so many* sites out there devoted to astrology if you ever want to waste an evening reading about it.
