Genuinely impressive how they managed to make a gen monster's designs the worst in the series. The small handful of decent designs are outnumbered by not only bad designs, but some of the worst in the series. Ugly and garish color schemes, terrible proportions, meme-bait designs intent to make for a quick joke and just that, absolutely no definition and just rounded blobs. Oh, and the furbait.

Anyone claiming Gen 5 was worse is delusional, even shit like Vanniluxe isn't as bad as Eiscue or Blipbug.

What the fuck was James Turner thinking? Or, better yet, why do they kanto-pander so much, but ignore the actually good things about the early gens people like, one being monster designs that actually looked like monsters instead of rounded circular toys.
