Pikachu has always been ash’es buddy/following pokemon since the beginning of the series. Pikachu rarely ever goes inside its pokeball and is always by ashes side. Considering that pikachu is relatively small it can fit in most places ash goes and is quite practical for travel. With that in mind what would you consider to be your buddy Pokemon.
