I miss the glowing feature Pokémon had when you sent them out. I think it was from emerald but when you sent out swampert it would glow blue then back to normal.

I used to not care for the Swampert or Blaziken line but hot damn do I love them now, Swampert has quickly become one of my favorite Pokémon of all time, and my 4th favorite starter of all time.

Blastoise strats are still viable and in any case don't involve main switching to a legendary for the last gym and the E4 like Swampert strats do.

Hell yea. My favorite starter, favorite water type. Ultimate bro. Always use a swampert whenever I have the chance. Since we cant move mons from pre-gen, my oldest mon in home is a Swampert.

Are you kidding?
The Gen 3 meta practically revolved around Swampert and fucking SkarmBliss. It's only ever threatened by something running HP grass, usually SPECIFICALLY for dealing with it.
