So I tried it and it didnt work because i forgot i was missing a pokemon since it was in my shield game for battles. I put it back in my living dex and checked the app and saw nothing. I then moved all the boxes to the left and I got one. I moved them back to the right and got a second one. The requirement seems to be an absolute living dex with even mythical pokemon. Forms are not needed.

Since everyone on the internet is very dumb I will explain step by step for my fellow 4chan niggers.
1- You need a living dex, yes even mythicals.
2- They need to be deposited on bank, each and every one. you don't need special forms like pika hats or vivillon patterns the 890 base should suffice
3- On home, move every pokemon one box to the left (use the mass select option) box 2 goes to 1, box 3 goes to 2 and so on
4- quit and save the changes, close the home on switch and open home on your phone.
5- profit. The magearna should be on the mystery gift section. Now repeat all steps as much as you want.

I will add on that that the Magearna you receive each time is the same, it's like every account have a set Magearna gift you activate multiple times.

Transfer a Pokemon from Go to Let's Go
This unlocks the Mystery Box, which lets you catch (I think) 10 Meltan every four days. However, you have to transfer a Pokemon to reactivate the box every time.
Then once you have 400 candy to evolve Meltan, evolve it, then transfer it to Let's Go and then to Home.

If you don't do something to double the candies you get from catching, then you have to activate the box six times to get 400 candies. That's playing 30 minutes every four days for just over three weeks. And then you never have to touch Go again. But yeah you need Let's Go too.

Home has to contain a living dex. It doesn't have to be in order, but all 890 Pokemon have to physically be in Home for this to work.

Am I understanding you correctly? Your Home already has all 890 registered, meaning you've transferred them from Bank, yet you're hung up about your living dex not being in a physical game? You can move them back once you have Magearna assuming the Pokemon were from LG and SwSh.

Well actually I'm not sure. You need a living dex for the exploit to work yes, but just completing the dex is SUPPOSED to get you one normally. If you still don't have the Magearna I'd just wait on a patch.

I have a living dex, I used Home to get most of these gastrodon to see if it was fixed. The switch app even recognized I have a full dex, the phone app is not.

That trade is impossible, my guy. You can't trade mythicals over GTS. Not only that, but they added an auto filter for people requesting them so nobody can even see your Salazzle.

Did you move the boxes or the pokemon that are in the boxes? I didn't get the magearna when I put in the Melmetal but once I shifted the pokemon I got it. Shifted the pokemon back and got a second.

I am trying to register every form in HOME, but for some reason I cannot get the Own Tempo Rockruff form to register. I have traded for it many times over GTS, sent bred Rockruff from Bank, and even transferred an untouched event Rockruff over and nothing will get it to register. Even the box move trick got me two Magearna and some form registration fixes, but not Rockruff.

I cleared the cache and that did not work either.

Anyone have an idea?
