I might learn to ignore it but it really bothers me.

Do I have any options besides ordering a shitty new screen and replacing it?

My 3ds has that issue now. I just don’t play it anymore. Nintendo was really bad with quality control of the DS line. Switches have been pretty bad too with joysticks, sd card slots burning up, heat vents melting plastics, scratched plastic screen, and dock scratching screen

I’m kinda done buying nintendo hardware. Its really low quality and theres such a big emulation scene for new nintendo consoles that switch is almost playable emulated already so I think I can just do that from now on. Mystery dungeon already looks better on Yuzu than Switch

Can you elaborate more on the pixel? If it’s only noticeable when the screen transition on an all black screen then who cares

Yeah, there’s a visible white spot while the screen is showing black, otherwise it just shows colors normally.

There are some reports that people were able to “unstuck” pixels like these so I’m kind off hopeful.

Honestly no, it was back when I was like 17 and they first came out. I just learned to live with it. I wish i could be more help Anon I just thought Id weigh in to let you know its not uncommon.

DSi screens have really bad quality control. If it's not a dead pixel or dust underneath one of the screens, then it's uncalibrated and/or mismatched color temperatures for each screen.

Pay a repair shop to swap out the screens.

Normally I'd suggest you do it yourself, but according to ifxit this repair is a HUGE BITCH.
