The only ones I think have really sucked this gen are the starters, but those have been pretty cruddy for years (I think the last one where I liked all 3 in an evolution line was Chespin, the starters always drop the ball somewhere, usually the final form), and I haven't liked all 3 starters in a group since gen-4 in which there wasn't a single bad one (Chimchar was a little underwhelming but not actually bad and Monferno and Infernape made up for it), so whatever.
