So what is it with you guys and hating on Gen 8's mons so much. I've gone around other sites and I typically see more neutral to positive comments on this generation's new Pokemon compared to you guys trashing it.

personally, the "good" designs, for example dragapult, are just okay, while the bad one are really bad, even the worst in the entire franchise specifically eiscue, duraludon and stonjourner
but they're not all bad, but I feel they will alll be forgotten once gen 8 ends

This always happens with every new generation. Though comparatively mild then, DiaPer had a vocal bunch of whiners, then Black/White had it worse, and then more worse for X/Y, and it kept elevating each passing generation until it boiled over when Sword/Shield were announced.
As well know, if the new game is not literally a mirror 1:1 copy of your favorite Gen, it’s automatically irredeemable unplayable garbage. Oh, but they’ll jerk to the new girls and Pokémon if they find them attractive enough, that will always be a thing.
