technically yes because the sprites were retarded, the game was unbalanced to all hell, and special stat pokemon were disgusting. also speed stat determined crit and there was like 1 line. only nostalgia tards say it was the best game when there are plenty of pokemon games with better pokemon designs and better soundtracks
