I picked up Pokemon Sword the other day - what's the deal with other online players in the wild area, are they real people with real time interactions? Are they bots with specific movement commands given the player details as a "skin", I simply can't figure it out, does anyone know? I've yet to have a social interaction with a player, like circling around each other or anything, so I'm thinking bots with player skins since most of them just run, stand. Run stand. Walk into wall, any info? I hate "fake online"
