Seriously, if they gonna hype me up with a volcarona that breaks its evolution level then at least give me some decent moves like flame burst or flame charge.

I've used that volcarona multiple times. Even with its shit learnset, it was still pretty strong. Definitely not as bad as the moveset makes it out to be.

You can tutor it Signal Beam in Driftveil for just 4 red shards.
Chances are you'll already have one or two of them by the time you get there so it shouldn't take much grinding.

What were they thinking with Unova pokemon in general?
Deino, Pawniard, and Rufflet for example evolve too late and show up too late to be really useful. Larvesta is just a cruel joke. At least Riolu in DPPT was a happiness-based evolution.
