It's like how fag became tranny and "u mad" became "seethe", etc. Eventually 4chan's current subculture will fade out as well and become a different one and we'll get different synonyms for these words.
It's not 4chan- or internet-specific either. "Yikes" has become "[big] oof", "Wow" has become "bruh [moment]", etc.
As long as you have a society with subcultures, you'll always have slang. You'll always have flavored replacements for general vocabulary. You'll keep having these cycles.
Seems silly trying to play the wise man that sees through this guise and thinks because of that they can put an end to this system.
