It's really well made. Mine did need to soak in some hot water for a minute to loosen the joints though.

I got A TON of pokemon merch when I went to Tokyo last october, and I also won a lot of plushes by playing UFO catchers, like Lugia, Jolteon and the halloween Pikachu.

Preventing plush from getting dirty is better than washing them, don't wash too hot (<40c), use mild soap/detergent, don't use fabric softener, make sure you wash out all soap and make sure the plush dries completely to prevent mold.

You can do that with smaller plush, but still I always recommend hand washing. Some fabrics handle machine wash better than others, better to be safe than sorry.
