Well-intended villains like Maxie, Archie, Lysandre, USUM Lusamine and Chairman Rose. All done poorly with either terrible motives, conflicting actions or just being plain fucking stupid in general. The worst of them is unironically USUM Lusamine because she still does the same horrible shit that SM Lusamine did, except she's more aware of that and gets off scott-free for it. The rest are just idiots for different reasons.

Hell, the anime made me hate all the Gen 1 Pokemo Girls.

Though I eventually warmed up to Erika, Sabrina, and even Jessie. I still hate Misty to this day.
