Imagine a person, who is a Jew, a man, a teacher, an American, a conservative, a family man, a collector of stamps and avid reader of books about entomology. Do you believe in very kind of crisis his only relevant identity marker is that he is Jewish? Do really believe that Jews have such a form of ethnic collectivism that every Jew, will act against his personal interests, his nation, his profession, his sex, his (non-Jewish) family, his hobbies etc. the moment they happen to conflict with his Jewish identity and it would be detrimental to the Jewish cause?
