>>42860505No, because unlike you, I look at the numbers and understand what's happening (the same thing that ALWAYS happened), people ageing out of Pokémon and leaving, to get replaced by the next crop of children (evidenced by the series selling pretty much constant numbers, except the first time oldfags couldn't use their Gen I-IV 'mons and left in droves). Your generation, this one now shitting the bed about Pokémon not being for them any more is different only to those past generations of people who slipped away quietly in the past, as this is the first time a generation ageing out of the series has UBIQUITOUS internet access and the sounding boards to cry about the fact you're ageing out. Games have always been for kids and casuals. It's why despite the HARDCORE following the devs know they've picked up, they STILL continue to make games with children as the primary focus.
Now go on, turn round and cry "so children deserve shit" because YOU think it's shit and project your feelings everywhere. Kids don't think it's shit, they see the SAME cartoonish monsters you did as a child and get hooked into the games regardless (as that's how the system works - growing an audience is always better than trying to attract one).
