No, charizard's issues come from a medicre BST, a movepool he can't use, a situational ability and its counters all being insanely good.

We need to tell this to Gamefreak.
Just change Charizard's base stats to be more minmaxed, improve the movepool, give him a new and better ability, and cut out all of his counters in the next gen.
Then he'll finally be as good as they seem to want him to be.
