Yea fairies ruined my dark and dragons mons. They have to make fire resistant to fairy/ super effective to them.

Dragons are held in high regard in Japan and making strong Pokemon dragon type is fitting. I still wish we'd get more non dragon pseudos though.

In the Gen 5 design interviews, Sugimori they were ordered to make "a powerful three-stage Dragon family" in regards to the Deino line. I feel like that's how all pseudos are described in development
