And we both know "objectively bad" is something you'll never get to decide. Again, your opinion has authority only in your own household. I know I got my money worth with this game, and I would've gotten very very little benefit out of boycotting this game just because of some shortcomings. "Dude deprive yourself of 200 hours of fun because it means the NEXT GAME might possibly have a Battle Frontier or some shit!" is just not something I see worth in doing.
