>>42872084>further thoughtsNot much to say honestly, it does what it says on the tin. Just FireRed but with all the Gen 1-3 Pokemon and ramped up difficulty. The Gyms can catch you out if you don't prepare, most of them have one or two Pokemon of different types or crazy movesets to cover their weaknesses, but once you know whats coming they're not all that bad.
It definitely wasn't as brutal as I was expecting, although I was stacking my team with crazy strong Pokemon (was even planning on using a pseduo/legendary at one point) to compensate. A lot of fun though, I doubt I'll go back to regular FR after that, I wanna give it a shot with shitmons or a Nuzlocke attempt.
