No I will not be buying this cashgrab but I have spent the last few days on reddit’s Mystery Dungeon board and the MD thread here and I realized that people just want to play their game. They do no care about quality or new story content. This will be my last thread on Mystery Dungeon DX.

Well duh. It's TPC, they're giving nothing but the bare minimum effort/cost, because of how poorly they saw their games sell as time went on. I'm actually expecting Home compatibility and you'll be able to move through any pokémon you own that appear in PMD and use them like recruited pokémon, but I think they wanna nail that down before announcing it (or it's being kept as a Pokemon day reveal).

I really wanted it. When the trailer dropped, I was so excited just to play another Mystery Dungeon game. Even when it looked like just a straight remake with only some new added content, I remained hopeful. Then I come to find that the "new" content is just some shoehorned evolutions. I still wanted to be hopeful, but then the demo dropped

They removed the basic "a button" attack. It sounds like such a stupid little thing but that was what finally killed it for me. That little layer of strategy ("I could land a SE hit, but gotta' save PP!" "Maybe instead of a strong attack I can finish it with a weak attack!") meant so much more than I realized. Now it's just boring.
