>>42873535>>42873595I agree that the soundtrack was amazing but the rest of the game just felt so grindy and repetitive. The writing was all over the fucking place and had no idea what it was doing. Every chapter introduced new characters and new plot instead of resolving any of the old stuff, so nobody got any character development. And you had the potato and that kid making the same goddamn jokes over and over and over, just as reptitive as the gameplay itself. It was ok the first few times, but then every fight you're just doing the same combos over and over, and in order to unlock any of the interesting stuff you've also gotta do a ton more grinding.
The only other enjoyable part for me was the exploration. Finding little hidden secret areas was cool and finally unlocking the flying skells was great, but goddamn the skell combat was even more fucking boring than on feet. I don't know how they managed to make mech fights so boring but congratulations, they did it.
