Spiky Ear pichu was a pichu with three ear spikes almost indistinguishable from normal pichu and GF refused to let it through. Hats and weird pattern pokemon are never getting in just on modeling alone

That's because Go is the best Pokemon game since Gen V and is in fact the only good game of the 3D Pokemon entries. Now that world PVP is up and running it's a lock. I can't play the terrible mainline games anymore. Go trumps them.

If they let in all the GO special forms, which they won’t, it would just open up a huge can of worms they don’t want to deal with. Then people would bitch about adding all the Magikarp forms from Magikarp Jump. Then they’d bitch about Cosplay Pikachu and Spiky-Eared Pichu. Then they’d bitch about every other minor, inconsequential form added over the years that has never been featured in the main games. It’s a headache no one wants.

And let’s not forget they still haven’t added the rest of the Pokémon or any of the megas. They already have their work cut out for them.
