The blaze/torrent/swarm/overgrow abilities are way too specific to add any reliable utility to differentiate a 'mon and will almost always be outclassed by any other ability a mon might have.
Like you have to have low health to get a boost to one STAB. So you need to be able to get to low health, then to be able to hit without being killed, then for that STAB to be useful against the opponent for it to be worthwhile using. Like it's possible to pull off, but not really worthwhile in just about any case.
