So what about gen 6 caused the huge drop in quality?
Gen 6 by far dropped the most features and extras out of any gen.
>Region is clearly unfinished with big places like the Powerplant left out and multiple NPCs mentioning Southern Kalos with a completely useless train station
>Started the ongoing trend of having friends instead of rivals
>Little to no attention to detail with worker NPCs mentioning Kalos is undergoing a blackout while at night all the lights are on
>A ton of Pokemon just look terrible in 3D with some arguably looking better on the N64/GCN/Wii
>Mewtwo randomly placed in a cave and the Kanto birds seemingly placed in because they forgot to make a trio for gen 6
>No battle facilities beyond the Maison, for reference BW2 had Black/White exclusive area, the Battle Institute, Battle Subway and the Pokemon World Tournament
>No fun little areas like contest halls or the movie studio
What the fuck happened? Was the leap to 3D really that hard for Gamefreak that it's caused this massive drop in quality for the entire IP since?
